Question by Genee: What can a dentist do to close gaps in your teeth other than braces?
I should be going to the dentist sometime this month, and I'd like to get the gap closed between my two top teeth and two bottom teeth.

I'm 20 so I don't really want braces plus my teeth are mostly straight.

What can a dentist do to close gaps other than getting braces?

If the gap isn't too big, you can get veneers. I'd recommend porcelain for esthetic areas. They cost a bit more but you will have them for a long time. Again... if the gap is too big you will probably have to wear braces for a while anyway... but if you need braces, there is always the option of invisalign (if appropriate for your case). They are clear and fit around your teeth. You can't really even notice others are wearing them. Google them and take a look.
